DERS

In the DERS information climate actions and effects, support received and impacts are provided.  For the climate action and their effects, the information covers scope and type of action, status of implementations, steps taken and envisage to be taken, achievements and impacts. Additional information on finance is also provided. This include sources of finance, channel of finance, extent of disbursement etc. This will be closed linked with the climate finance tracking results.

At this initial stage, the DERS is anchored on a simple spreadsheet designed and help do the following;

  • Publish regular updates of status of climate actions.
  • Major achievements and impacts of implementation of climate change
  • On-the fly analysis of climate finance and impacts
  • Main source for international climate finance reporting.

As the data expands, the database will be regularly updated to accommodate it.
